After heading up the excellent Santa Cruz band The Call since 1980, Michael Been stepped out with his second solo release On the Verge of a Nervous Breakthrough. Held at the now defunct Tower Records on Peachtree St. in Atlanta was a switch for 99X from the usual venue of Catspaw Studios.
