Happy 49th, 77. NEW MUSIC WEDNESDAY: “PBJ” by @kevinmorby @djshadow released his debut studio album ‘Endtroducing.....’ 30 years ago today. NEW MUSIC TUESDAY: “Seriously” by Editors. David Bowie released his 24th studio album ‘Reality’ on this day in 2003. As the soundtrack for David Byrne’s film of the same name, @talkingheadsofficial released their seventh studio album ‘True Stories’ 40 years ago today. Incidentally, that band from Oxfordshire got their name from this song. Happy 60th to Mike Cooley of @drivebytruckers who was born on this day in 1966 in Tuscumbia, Alabama. One this day in 1963, Lennon and McCartney visited The Rolling Stones’ recording session and finished off a new song ‘I Wanna Be Your Man.’ The Stones’ version was the group’s first UK top-20 hit, peaking at No. 12 on the British chart.
